The Restaurant Series 1
Award-winning top chef and restaurateur Raymond Blanc puts nine couples through their paces to see if they have what it takes to run their own restaurant.
The competing couples are handed the keys to their own eatery which they must turn into their dream restaurant and open to the paying public.
The couples need to prove that they can run a successful restaurant and are put through a series of tough challenges designed to test specific culinary, business and front-of-house skills. Every decision and every mistake they make is caught on camera.
Each week the worst performing restaurant is eliminated from the competition by Raymond Blanc and his fellow judges.
The winning couple will be given their own restaurant, financially backed and personally supported by Raymond with a six-figure sum of his own money.
